Itinerary
Day – 1 – Delhi – Srinagar – Baltal
Arrive Srinagar by air/train and then drive to Baltal via Sonmarg. Rest of the day is free at Baltal for acclimatization and preparing for next days trek to Amarnath Cave.Dinner overnight in tents at Baltal.
Day – 2 – Baltal – Amarnath Cave – Baltal
Have your breakfast early morning before proceeding upwards for the trek to Amarnath Cave for darshan. Enjoy the serene beauty of nature during the trek. Have a dip in the ice-cold water of Amarnath Stream which flows just outside the cave. Inside the cave there is scenery of calm tranquility of white and glistering three massive Lingmas standing erect, symbolizing Lord Shiva, Parvathi and Ganesha. After darshan trek back towards Baltal.Dinner overnight in tents
Day – 3 – Baltal – Srinagar
Drive back to Srinagar via road. On arrival in Srinagar, transfer to Houseboats. Relax and have dinner overnight Houseboats.
Day – 4 – Srinagar
After breakfast take the half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh . In the afternoon, you will have the Shikara ride on The Dal Lake where you can enjoy the paradise on earth. You will get to witness some of the most beautiful scene around the lake.Dinner . Overnight stay in Hotel/House-boats.
Day – 5 – Srinagar – Jammu – Delhi
Transfer to airport for connecting flight to Jammu or Delhi or early morning drive back to Jammu. A distance of about 300kms will be covered in about 9 hrs. On arrival to Jammu, transfer to Railway station to board the train for onward destination.
