ITINERARY:-
Day 01 – Arrive Delhi |  On to Chandigarh / Panchkula (260 kms / approx. 6 hour drive)
Welcome to your ‘Himachal Delight’ tour! Report to Rajghat parking area where our representative will assist you in boarding the coach. Please note, you must gather latest by 8.30 am as the coach departs at 9.15 am. Later proceed to Chandigarh / Panchkula. En route lunch will be arranged in a local restaurant/dhaba. Arrive into Chandigarh / Panchkula and check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 02 – On to Shilon Bagh /Shimla
After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Chandigarh visiting the Rock Garden. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Later, drive to Pinjore Gardens and then proceed to Shilon Bagh/ Shimla . On arrival, check into the hotel.

Day 03 – In Shimla / Shilon Bagh  |  Excursion to Kufri
This morning proceed for a wonderful excursion to Kufri, famous for its trekking and hiking trails. In Kufri, enjoy a walk through thick cedar woods to Mahasu Peak for an amazing view of the mighty Himalayas. You could take an enjoyable pony or yak ride around the park. Return to your hotel for lunch. In the evening visit the Mall Road, Scandal Point and Christ Church.

Day 04 – On to Manali (280 kms / approx. 8 hour drive)
This morning you will proceed on a breathtaking drive to Manali, nestled on the banks of the River Beas amidst Kullu Valley. Lunch will be served enroute in a local restaurant / dhaba at Sundernagar / Mandi followed by a visit to the Kullu Shawl Factory or Vishnu Mata Temple. On arrival into Manali, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is free.

Day 05 – In Manali
Proceed on a half day tour of Manali, situated in the Valley of Gods; a combination of natural splendour and rich cultural heritage. Visit the Tibetan Monastery which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings. Then the Hadimba Devi Temple dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, the wife of Bhim of Mahabharat. It has a four – tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. Later drive to Vashist, a small village located on the left bank of river Beas renowned for its hot springs and temples. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. After lunch, the rest of the day is free for you to simply relax or explore the city of Manali on your own

Day 06 – In Manali |  Day Excursion to Snow Point / Rohtang Pass (51 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)
This morning proceed on an excursion to Snow Point on the Rohtang Pass road. The pass is open between June and October each year and is the gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley. You could enjoy pony and horse rides. Return to the hotel in time for late lunch. The evening is free for leisure activities.

Day 07 – On to Chandigarh (320 kms / approx. 9 hour drive)
Today proceed to Chandigarh. Lunch will be served en route in a local restaurant /dhaba at Sundernagar / Mandi. On arrival into Chandigarh, check into your hotel. The evening is at leisure for independent activities

Day 08 – On to Delhi (260 kms / approx. 7 hour drive)  |  Return home with happy memories
Today bid farewell to your ‘Himachal Delight’ tour, as you are transferred to Rajghat Parking area, Delhi, for your onward journey. (B)

  2. Transportation – Entire round trip journey ex Delhi by an air-conditioned coach as per the itinerary. Air conditioning will not work during hill drives.

Local Sightseeing – As per the itinerary, local sightseeing in Shimla, Snow Point / Rohtang Pass and Manali will be in smaller local non air-conditioned Maruti Vans as outside vehicles are not permitted in these areas. The sightseeing options can be amended as per opening / closing days / timings of the monuments / gardens.
