Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
Meals: Lunch and Dinner
Arrive at the Kathmandu International Airport or bus park and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Important: Lunch will be provided to passengers who check in at the hotel by 1500 hours.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After breakfast, visit the Pashupathinath Temple for darshan. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, you will be given a tour briefing and your clothing for the trip will be inspected. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Nyalam (150 km/approx. 6 hours)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After an early breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Tibet-Nepal border. Have lunch on the Nepal side of the border and complete all immigrations and customs formalities. Proceed to Zhangmu on the Tibet side. Here, you will meet your Chinese guide and drivers. Board your bus and continue driving to Nyalam in China. Stay overnight at the Nyalam lodge or at a similar hotel.

Day 4: Day free for acclimatisation at Nyalam
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Spend the whole day in Nyalam to acclimatise to the altitude. All meals will be provided at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Drive from Nyalam to Saga
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After breakfast, drive to Saga. You will cross the Lalungla Pass (16,000 feet). You will also see Lake Paigu and the Brahmaputra river on your way.

Day 6: Drive from Saga to Mansarovar
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After breakfast at around 8 am, drive through the Mayumu La Pass (17,000 feet). This is the highest point on the route. You will be provided with lunch on the way. Once you reach, you will see the glorious Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Horchu in twin sharing tents.

Day 7: Mansarovar Parikrama | Drive to Darchen
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
You can perform pooja and hawan till 2 pm. Then, drive to Darchen along the Parikrama around Mansarovar. Overnight at Darchen lodge

Day 8: Kailash Parikrama trek
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
It’s a tough day for pilgrims. After breakfast, drive to Tarboche (8 km) and begin your 12-km Kailash Parikrama trek to Diraphuk (16,500 feet). You will be given light lunch on the way. Dinner overnight at the Camp (twin sharing tents) .

Day 9: Trek to Zuthulpuk
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
This is the most difficult day of the yatra. You will trek to Dolma Pass (18,600 feet). Then, descent to Gauri Kund and continue on your trek along the river to Zuthulpuk. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp (twin sharing tents).

Day 10: Return to Mansarovar
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After breakfast, trek around 6 km to the spot from where jeeps will pick you. Drive to Darchen. After lunch, drive to Lake Mansarovar (Horchu side). Stay overnight at the camp (twin sharing tents).

Day 11: Drive from Mansarovar to Saga (450 km/approx. 7 hours)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Today begins your return journey. After breakfast, drive to Dongba. Have lunch on the way and proceed to Saga. Dinner and overnight stay at Saga.

Day 12: Drive from Zhangmu to Kathmandu (144 km/approx. 6 hours)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After breakfast, drive to Zhangmu. Complete your immigration and customs formalities and cross over to the Nepal side. Have lunch at the border guest house and drive to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13: Depart from Kathmandu
Meals: Breakfast
Go to the airport or bus park and continue with your return journey.
