Vaishno Devi is counted among the holiest places to be visited in India. Since years, people have been visiting this holy shrine dedicated to the Mother Goddess. This shrine is located within a cave and is accessible via a trek from Katra. For the benefit of travelers, there are numerous tea stalls and food joints on the way where you can take rest as you climb up to the Goddess.


Itinerary (KATRA)

Day 1: Jammu – Katra
Arrive at Jammu by train / air. Meet and assist on arrival at railway station or airport transfer to hotel in Katra. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Katra – Vaishnodevi – Katra
Early morning after breakfast, proceed for heli Pad.
Departure Katra: 10,30 Hrs by Helicopter
Arrival Sanjichhat:1035 Hrs
Onward to Bhawan by foot or Ponies (to be arranged directly) Priority Darshan
After darshan leave by ponies for Sanjichhat for last Helicopter to Katra
Departure Sanjichhat: 1730 Hrs by Helicopter
Arrival Katra: 1740 Hrs.
After Darshan, Check in at Hotel for Rest. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3: Katra – Jammu
Later in the noon on time transfer to airport or Railway station to connect flight or Train for further destination.
