Itinerary:

Day 1 : ARRIVE DELHI
Welcome to Delhi tour – The Grand Capital of India. On arrival at Airport / Railway Station in Delhi, begin your tour of ‘The Golden Quadrangle’. You will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Later, enjoy a city tour of Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar, Raj Ghat, a simple memorial for Mahatma Gandhi, drive past Jama Masjid, magnificent Red Fort, India Gate, the President’s House, Parliament House and the Government Secretariat Buildings. If time permits, shop in the local market on your own.
Overnight in Delhi – None (Meals on your Own)

Day 2 : ON TO JAIPUR (260 KMS / APPROX. 6 HOUR DRIVE)
Today, proceed to the Pink City of Jaipur tour.
The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities or explore this colourful and vibrant city and its local markets, which were then earmarked for artisans and traders, still retain their old world charm.

Day 3 : JAIPUR
This morning, proceed on a visit to the ancient capital of the Kachwaha Rajputs, Amber Fort. (Elephant ride or Jeep ride on direct payment basis). En route to Jaipur, enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal – the Palace of Winds, an elaborate facade behind which the ladies of the court used to watch the daily goings on the street below.
Later this afternoon, visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II.
The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities. You can also visit the Jaipur markets which are famous for its ethnic handicrafts with beaded works and mirrors on it, potteries, local jewelry, textile materials, colorful carpets and kota doria mats.

Day 4 : ON TO AGRA TOUR VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI TOUR (220 KMS / APPROX. 6 HOUR DRIVE)
Today, proceed to another historical and romantic city, Agra. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city.
Later, visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor, Shahjehan.
Overnight in Agra (B)

Day 5 : ON TO GWALIOR (120 KMS / APPROX. 3 HOUR DRIVE)
In the morning, visit the Agra Fort containing the royal residential palaces, the Halls of Public and Private Audience and the beautiful gardens. Later, drive to Gwalior.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities. In the evening, you can enjoy the Sound & Light Show (entry on direct payment basis) at Gwalior Fort.

Day 6 : GWALIOR TOUR
Today, proceed on a city tour visiting the 9th century Teli Ka Mandir, the 11th century Saas Bahu Ka Mandir and the Jiwaji Rao Scindia Museum. Continue your tour visiting the tomb of Tansen – Akbar’s foremost court musician, followed by the memorials of the earliest freedom fighters like Tatya Tope and finally the newly constructed Sun Temple.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

Day 7 : DEPART GWALIOR
Today, bid farewell to your ‘The Golden Quadrangle’ tour as you are transferred to the Airport / Railway Station in Gwalior for your onward journey.
