Itinerary:

Day 1:Arrive Ahmedabad tour* On to Sasan Gir
Welcome to your ‘Wildlife of Gujarat with Beaches’ tour! Arrive at Ahmedabad railway station or Ahmedabad Airport on your own arrangements. You will be met and transferred to your hotel in Sasan Gir -The home of the Asiatic Lion.
The rest of the evening is at leisure.
Overnight in Sasan Gir

Day 2:In Sasangir
Today, visit the Gir National Park a sprawling area of 1412 sq. km. The wildlife sanctuary was established to put a stop to the alarming rate of Lion hunting. The population of lions dropped to as low as 15.The thrilling experience will leave you completely spellbound. Visit Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya. Crocodile breeding farm, Gir Information centre. A tapestry of dry deciduous forests, acacia scrub and grassland, fed by rivers and reservoirs.
The rest of the evening is at leisure. You can watch a movie on lion at Gir Information centre.
Overnight in Sasan Gir (B, L, D)

Day 3:On to Diu * Excursion to Somnath
Today, Proceed to beach town Diu. Check into your hotel.
Later proceed to Somnath Jyotirling Temple, the temple of Somnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva According to the legend, Somnath is as old as creation, built by none other than the Moon God himself. This pilgrimage is one of the oldest and finds its reference in the ancient texts like Skandpuran, Shreemad Bhagvat, Shivpuran etc. The present temple is the seventh temple reconstructed on the original site. The first temple of Somnath is said to have existed before the beginning of the Christian era.
The evening is at leisure.

Day 4:In Diu
The morning is at leisure to enjoy the wide variety of water sports facilities available at Nagoa Beach (On direct payment basis).
Later, visit St. Paul’s Church – This Church is said to be the only active church in the region till date. This Museum of Diu Island also unfolds the Portuguese era in this region & Diu Fort – The fort is skirted by the Sea on the three sides. On the fort stands a giant Light House. Several canons still stare menacingly from top. The main front wall is having five huge windows with stone galleries. The Fort has been creatively lit, which creates a breath taking views at night.The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 5:Depart Diu
Today you bid farewell to ‘Wildlife & Beach of Gujarat’ as your tour ends with a transfer to Diu Airport or Delvada railway station for your onward journey.
