Haryana Location

Haryana is located in the Northern India, and is bordered by Punjab and Himachal Pradesh to the north, Rajasthan to the west and south. The river Yamuna defines its eastern border with Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. Haryana also surrounds Delhi on three sides, forming the northern, western and southern borders of Delhi.

By Air (Flights)

The main airport of Haryana is in Chandigarh. Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport also serves to the nearby places of Haryana for domestic and international flights. There are civil aerodromes at Pinjore, Karnal, Hisar, Bhiwani and Narnaul.

By Railways

The main railway station is Chandigarh, Apart from that Delhi has four Railway Stations, which are within approachable distance from any part of Haryana. Kalka, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Rohtak, Jind, Hissar, Ambala, Panipat and Jakhal are important railway stations.

By Road

Haryana is well connected by National Highways to many major cities and towns. All villages of Haryana are interconnected with metalled roads. The length of roads in the State is more than 34,772 kms. Some parts of the state like Faridabad and Gurgaon are within the National Capital Region and are at a short driving distance from Delhi.
