Binsar Retreat
The Binsar Retreat is known for its ecological tourism and stunning Himalayan and forest views, and is situated at a height of 7500 feet 30 kms NE of Almora in Kumaon. The Binsar retreat Resort is in the core area of Binsar wildlife sanctuary, and comprises five luxury tents with modern amenities: attached bath( with running cold water & hot water provided on request), wooden floors, solar power backup (for the whole night lanterns are provided), traditional textiles, private verandah with flower garden and three Himalaya facing rooms with the same facilities as the tents.
The philosophy of the Binsar Retreat is to care for and conserve nature and to provide the guests with an experience in the forest which emphasizes on the importance of conserving the delicate balance between man and nature.

There are many trek routes for jungle walks and trekking depending on the interest of the guests, bird watching with expert guides, village walks to see typical village life (village stay also available on prior request), and Traditional folk music & dance programs.

A conglomeration of luxury tents, each tent here is well equipped with a comfortable bed, seating area, aesthetic decor and alfresco seating area. Each tent has an attached bathroom as well. The retreat offers services and facilities like hot water on request, heater in 2 rooms and room service.

The Binsar retreat offers room service with a wide range of delectable cuisines from all over India.
Facilities
The facilities offered in the retreat include a bonfire and barbeque, laundry services, a beautiful garden for children to play, guide services, taxi services, doctor on call, jeep safaris and housekeeping services.
Cars are not allowed at resort. The Binsar Retreat provides parking facility, approximately 500 metres away from the resort. Guests will be picked up from there by Gypsy.
