Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Jaipur | Sightseeing in Jaipur

Meals: No Meal

Arrive at the Jaipur Airport or railway station, where you will be assisted by a Yatra representative. Drive from the airport or railway station to the hotel. Upon arrival, check-in and take rest. The trip begins in the afternoon with a visit to the famous monuments of the city, starting with the renowned City Palace. You will be spellbound by this beautiful building, which is a living example of the of the Mughal and Rajput architecture. The palace was built in the 19th century by Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh. Another well-known structure here is the Hawa Mahal, which is honeycombed with 953 pink sandstone windows known as ‘jharokhas’. Afterwards, a visit to the astronomical observatory of the bygone era called the Jantar Mantar will make your experience an enriching one. Retreat to the hotel, for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Jaipur

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the pride of Jaipur – the Amber Fort. You will be mesmerised by the grandeur and beauty of this fort that was built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh I. Beautiful paintings, precious stones and sparkling mirror settings adorn the interiors of the fort. This seven-centuries old palace truly reflects the rich and glorious past of the city. After spending some pleasurable moments at the fort, return to the hotel in the afternoon. A visit to the Pink City is incomplete without exploring the colourful markets of the city, where you can shop for handmade artefacts, exquisite jewellery and ethnic clothes.Stay at the hotel overnight and rest.

Day 3 : Drive from Jaipur to Jodhpur (330 km/approx. 6 hours)

Meals: Breakfast

Soon after breakfast, proceed for a road journey to Jodhpur. On arrival at the Sun City, check-in at the hotel and rest. Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan and is known for the beautiful Mehrangarh Fort that is counted among one of the largest forts in India. The city is dotted with numerous monuments, including Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Government Museum and Rai-Ka-Bag Palace.Stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Jodhpur

Meals: Breakfast

Enjoy your breakfast and head for an exciting sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, an imposing colossal fort that stands on a rocky hill at a height of 400 metres above the city level. Latticed windows, beautifully-carved panels and elaborately-decorated walls enhance the beauty of this fort. You can get insight into the rich heritage of the city at its museum that showcases musical instruments, palanquins, royal costumes, furniture, and arms and armour. Close to the fort, is situated another prominent white marble monument, called Jaswant Thada. A cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, the monument is famously called the Taj Mahal of Marwar. After a visit to these architectural landmarks of the city, enjoy shopping at the local markets.Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 5 :Depart from Jodhpur

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Drive to the airport or railway station for your return journey.
