DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1:: WELCOME TO KENYA AND ITS RAIN FORESTS

Welcome to Kenya this morning on board your international flight. Here you are met by our awaiting driver guide who will meet you outside the Customs Halls and quickly whisk you away to our awaiting Safari Bus. A quick departure for the beautiful rich great uplands area of Tea and Coffee Plantations into the lovely Pineapple plantations of Thika and thereafter onto the foothills of the majestic snow capped Mt. Kenya where you arrive at the beautiful Tree Lodge, the Serena Mountain Lodge. This wonderful, quiet, serene and peaceful location is your first point of contact to the African wildlife. From the comfort of your balcony, you will see Elephant, African Cape Buffalo, Bushbuck, Waterbuck and other plains game as they come to drink at the resident water hall and Salt Lick.

DAY 2:: SAMBURU

A lazy rise followed by a hearty breakfast and thereafter check out followed by a wonderful drive through some Wheat Plantations into the Semi Arid bushland of the Samburu Game Reserve arriving at the Samburu Serena Safari Lodge located on the Ewaso Nyiro River which is the lifeblood line of this wonderful park. After a delicious luncheon, we enjoy our first game drive as we arm our Cameras with a full charge. Samburu is home to some endemic wildlife like the Pin Striped Grevy Zebra, the Blue Necked Somali Ostrich, The Rare Gerenuk, The Reticulated Giraffe and of course plenty of Elephant and Buffalo. Samburu is also home to the Lion, Leopard, Nile Crocodile, Hyena, Cheetah. In the smaller game you will see Bushbabys, Genet Cats, Serval Cats and Porcupines.

Enjoy your game drive followed by a delicious dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 3:: SAMBURU

This morning a prebreakfast game drive followed by breakfast and thereafter after a midmorning game drive followed by lunch and another afternoon game drive.

DAY 4:: SAMBURU TO THE MOUNTAINS

Wake up late and enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Samburu Serena Lodge followed by departure for the world famous Mt. Kenya Safari Club which has now been restored to its lost glory with a complete refurbishment. . Here we arrive for lunch followed by an afternoon to relax and enjoy some of its stunning grounds and its wonderful location on the foothills of the Snowcapped Mt. Kenya.

DAY 5:: MT. KENYA TO LAKE NAKURU

After an early morning game drive and a hearty country breakfast we depart for the Lake Nakuru National Park and the Great Rift Valley where we arrive at the Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch time for a short siesta before you evening game drive where you will today have the best chance of sighting the elusive leopard, the Rhino and Lion and of course thousands of pink Flamingo.

Day 06:: MASAI MARA THE GREATEST THEATRE OF WILDLIFE

This morning a pre breakfast game drive if you wish followed by departure for the Masai Mara and where we arrive at the beautiful Mara Sarova Game Camp which is a wonderful Tented lodge with accommodation in luxurious tents just like a normal bedroom. Enjoy a wonderful lunch followed by your first afternoon game drive to see the game of the Savannah.

Day 07:: MASAI MARA

A full day to enjoy the Masai Mara. An early rise for a prebreakfast game drive followed by one after breakfast and one after lunch. WE will see some of the most amazing wildlife today. Take our check list and judge how lucky you are. Elephant, Zebra, Giraffe, Hippo, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Rhino, Jackal, Wildebeeste, Impala, Thompsons Gazelle, Grants Gazelle, Bat Eared Foxes, Banded Mongoose, Hyena, Kongoni, Warthog, Forest Hog, Secretary Birds, Fish Eagles, Vultures and an amazing array of birdlife.

Enjoy your day in this natural paradise of wildlife. Overnight at the Mara Sarova Camp.

Day 08:: MASAI MARA TO NAIROBI

This morning you depart from Masai Mara and arrive back into Nairobi. On arrival into Nairobi you enjoy a delicious Indian Luncheon at the Open House Restaurant followed by check into the Stanley Hotel in Nairobi where you enjoy a relaxed evening.

Day 09:: HOMEBOUND
