Day - 1 - Ahmedabad
Arrive at Ahmedabad airport/railway station and you are transferred to Hotel. Check in the hotel and relax for some time. Later proceed on a half day city tour of Ahmedabad visiting Gandhi Ashram, Calico Museum, Utensils Museum, the Jami Mosque and finally Akshardham which is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. The temple is built with 6000 tonnes of pink sandstone and has beautiful carvings. After sightseeing return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day - 2 - Ahmedabad - Lothal - Bhavnagar
After Breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Bhavnagar via Lothal Harappan archaeological site. Lothal is one of the most prominent cities of the ancient Indus valley civilization. Lothal's dock . Later in afternoon proceed to Bhavnagar. On arrival check in the hotel and relax for some time. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day - 3 - Bhavnagar - Palitana - Bhavnagar
After Breakfast proceed to full day sightseeing of Palitana temples located atop Shatrunjaya and crowned with over 900 temples he peak is a 3 km climb of over 3500 steps from the town and on each temple one can see detailed carvings. The temples are grouped into nine enclosures. Each has a central temple with smaller ones clustered around.. Rest of the day is at leisure for your individual activities. Later return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day - 4 - Bhavnagar
On the fourth day visit Gopnath Mahadev Temple and Beach. Located on the shore of the seaside on the Gulf of Khambat, this Shiva temple is where the devotional poet Narsinh Mehta supposedly had his spiritual experience almost 500 years ago. The coast in this area is full of tiny islands and offers a picturesque delight to the onlooker. Rest of the day is at leisure for your individual activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day - 5 - Bhavnagar - Diu
After Breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Diu.On arrival check in the hotel and relax for some time. Later in afternoon visit Gangeshwar Temple where the gentle sea waves offer their obeisance to the 'Shiva Lingas' in stone. Later, proceed to St. Thomas church, which has been converted into a museum and houses the antique statues, various stone inscriptions of the earlier rules, wooden carvings, idols, shadow-clocks and other important artifacts. After sightseeing return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day - 6 - Diu - Somnath - Diu
Early in the morning visit Somnath Temple, a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. The most interesting fact about the Somnath temple is that it has been built and destroyed six times. The present structure was rebuilt the seventh time. After visiting temple rest of the day is at leisure and you can also visit Ghoghla Beach, which is among the six beautiful beaches in Diu on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day - 7 - Depart Diu
After Breakfast check out the hotel and you are transferred to railway station to board a flight for your onwards journey,
