Shri Mata Vaishno Devi resides in the Holy Cave located in the fold of the three peaked mountains named Trikuta and at a height of 5200 feet over a distance of nearly 14 kms, an arduous journey on foot. A pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine is considered to be one of the holiest pilgrimages.
Short Itinerary
Day - 01
Arrive at Jammu Airport / Railway Station and you will be transfered to Katra. After some rest, you get transferred to Helipad (on own), have your Darshan of Mata Vaishnodevi.
Day - 02
Today earday is free for your local shopping.
Day - 03
After Breakfast drive to Jammu Railway Station / Airport to depart for your onward destination.
Arrive at Jammu Airport/Railway Station and you will be transferred to Katra. On arrival check-in at the hotel. After some rest, you get transferred to Helipad (on own), have your Darshan of Mata Vaishnodevi. Overnight at the hotel. (Jammu-Katra: 48 kms/1.5 hrs)
Day - 2 - Katra
The morning after breakfast, the day is free for your local shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
