The Gir Birding Lodge is located at the entrance to the Gir Wildlife Sanctuary Gujrat, adjacent to the Lion Sanctuary. Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary is spread over a vast expanse of 1,412 sq. kms. Gir National Park consists of dry deciduous forests, acacia scrub, evergreen and semi-evergreen flora and grasslands, fed by rivers and streams. Gir is an ideal place for bird watching and Gir Birding Lodge is the best place for you to explore birds.

Safari charges: Safaris into the jungle are conducted by park guides in open 4WD. The duration of safari is about three to four hours and is conducted early morning or in the afternoon till sunset. Each jeep can seat upto four persons comfortably. Besides the visitors, the jeep has an expert driver and a park guide. The lodge has two comfortable furnished rooms in the main building sharing a bath and 4 cottages with attached bathrooms, featuring western toilet fittings and hot and cold showers.

– For Indian nationals 1-6 persons:
Rs. 1650 (on weekdays)

Rs. 1875 (during festival season)
Camera fees – Rs 100 (full day) above 7 megapixel.
