Arrive at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu. On arrival check-in, the hotel and relax for some time. Rest of the day is at leisure for your individual activities and you can also explore the local market for shopping. Later back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After Breakfast proceeds to full day sightseeing of Thimphu which covers National Library, Traditional Medicine Institute, The Painting School, Textile Folk Heritage Museum. After lunch visit Tashichhodzong, 'the fortress of the glorious dharma site of King's throne room, National assembly hall, and the seat of Je Khenpo or Chief Abbot. Also visit King's Memorial Chorten continuously circumambulated by His Majesty's subjects, spinning prayer wheels and murmuring mantras. Then, visit Handicrafts Emporium and local shops if you like to browse through example of Bhutan's fine traditional arts. Here you can buy textiles, thangka paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and wood carvings, jewellery, interesting items made from local materials, and all manner of unique objects. In the evening check out the hotel and proceed to Paro. On arrival check-in, the hotel and relax for some time. Overnight stay at the hotel.

This site has been recognized as a most sacred place and visited by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646 and now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime. On the way back to the hotel visit Kyichu Lhakhang. In the evening explore the local market for shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.
