Itinerary:

Day 1:Arrive Kathmandu
On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (on your own) post customs and immigration, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, proceed on a half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Visit Pashupatinath Temple the one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The temple served as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. The temple is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites list.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.(D)

Day 2:On to Nepalgunj
This morning, get a Kailash Yatra briefing. Then after drive to Kathmandu airport in time to board your flight to Nepalgunj (450 mts). On arrival, check into your hotel.
Overnight stay in to Nepalgunj. (B,L,D)

Day 3:On to Simikot
This morning fly to Simikot (2950 mts). Visit Shiva Mandir & get acclimatized to high altitude.
The rest of the evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in Simikot.(B,L,D)

Day 4:On to Hilsa by helicopter * On to Purang
This morning board your helicopter from Simikot for a 30 minute flight to Hilsa. Arrive Hilsa and drive for 1 hour to reach Purang (3750 mts).
Overnight stay in Purang. (B,L,D)

Day 5:On to Mansarovar Lake
Drive to Mansarovar (90 kms / approx. 3 hr drive) to get your first view of the holy Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar. Take a dip and offer prayers in the holy Mansarovar lake.
Overnight stay in the Hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 6:On to Darchen * Trek to Diraphuk
Drive to Darchen (4620 mts / 1½ hour drive) Visit Yamadowar and then trek to Diraphuk (4765 m /approx. 5-6 hours)
Overnight stay in Diraphuk. (B,L,D)

Day 7:On to Zuthulphuk
Today’s trek is amongst the most difficult day of the yatra including a steep climb up to Dolma La Pass (5,636 mts), the highest altitude of your parikrama. Stay here for offering prayers and to relax. Slowly descend to your camp in Zuthulphuk (18 kms / 7-8 hours trek)
Overnight stay in Zuthulphuk. (B,L,D)

Day 8:On to Hilsa via Purang
This morning visit to Mani walls, The longest Mani walls (over 250m) are at Dzong and Phurpe and from there on drive to Hilsa (40 kms / 1 hour drive) via Purang.

Day 9:On to Simikot by helicopter * On to Nepalgunj * On to Kathmandu
This morning board your chartered helicopter to Simikot, and then fly to Nepalgunj and onward fly to Kathmandu. On arrivals get transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay in the Hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 10:Depart Kathmandu * Return home with happy memories
The morning is at leisure. Bid farewell to your ‘Kailash Manasarovar Yatra – By Helicopter’ Yatra as you will be transferred to airport for your onward journey.
