Short Itinerary

Day - 01 Arrive at Kathmandu Airport. Rest of the day is at leisure
Day - 02 Post breakfast at hotel proceed to Pashupathinath Darshan. Evening at leisure.
Day -03 After breakfast proceed to Nyalam.
Day -04 The whole day would be at Nayalam for the acclimatization, all meals will be provided
Day -05 The whole day would be at Nayalam for the acclimatization, all meals will be provided
Day -06  breakfast proceed your drive to Dongba. Overnight stay at hotel in Dongba.
Day -07 Morning after breakfast at around 8 am, drive through Mayumu – la pass.
Day -08 post lunch drive to Darchen via Mansarovar parikrama, dinner and overnight at Darchen lodge
Day -09 After breakfast drive to Tarboche (8 kms) and start trek for Kailash parikrama to Diraphuk (16,500 ft) – 12 kms
Day -10 Today morning after breakfast trek up to the 18,600ft. (Dolma-la Pass) – descend to Gauri kund and further trek along with the river to Zuthulpuk
Day -11 After breakfast proceed for trek around 6 kms, and reach to the point where the jeeps will be waiting to proceed for your drive to Darchen
Day -12 After breakfast drive up to Dongba
Day -13 After breakfast drive to Nyalam.
Day -14 After breakfast drive to Zhangmu. and drive to Kathmandu
Day -15 Transfer to Airport for departure.

Day - 1 - KathmanduKathmandu

Upon arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport meet and greet by Yatra representative and get transferred to hotel. Post your check inn formalities, the rest of the day is at leisure, dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day - 2 - Kathmandu – Temple visit

Post breakfast at hotel proceeds to Pashupathinath Darshan. Later return to the hotel for lunch, post-lunch you will be briefed about the entire tour. The evening at leisure, dinner and overnight stay at hotel. Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 3 - Kathmandu – Nyalam (3750 meters) – 150 kms

Post your early breakfast at hotel proceed to Nyalam (Tibet), lunch at border Nepal). After immigration and customs formalities proceed to Zhangmu (border Tibet side), where we meet the Chinese guide, drivers and vehicles (Toyota Land Cruiser or similar, transport on sharing basis) – continue drive to Nyalam (our first overnight in China), dinner and overnight at Nyalam lodge or similar. (5 – 6 pax dormitory accommodation). Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 4 - Nyalam – Day free for acclimatization

The whole day would be at Nyalam for the acclimatization, all meals will be provided – overnight stay at lodge (Nyalam lodge or similar). Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 5 - Nyalam – Day free for acclimatization

The whole day would be at Nyalam for the acclimatization, all meals will be provided – overnight stay at lodge (Nyalam lodge or similar). Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 6 - Nyalam – Dongba

After breakfast proceed your drive to Dongba, en-route you will be passing through Lalungla pass (16000ft) – huge lake Paigu-Tso & Brahmaputra river, delicious packed lunch will be served on the way, dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Dongba. Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 7 - Dongba – Mansarovar 4558 m (277 kms)

Today is the day for darshan of the Holy “Mt. Kailash & Lake Manasarover” – Morning after breakfast at around 8 am, drive through Mayumu – la pass (17000ft). The highest point of the driving, lunch on the way, dinner and overnight at Camp Horchu (twin sharing tent). Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner.

Day - 8 - Mansarovar Parikrama – Darchen

Moning after breakfast, the day till afternoon is free for pooja and hawan, post-lunch drive to Darchen via Mansarovar parikrama, dinner and overnight at Darchen lodge (3 – 4 pax dormitory accommodation). Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 9 - Darchen – Tarboche – Dirapuk (4860 m).

After breakfast drive to Tarboche (8 km) and start trek for Kailash parikrama to Diraphuk (16,500 ft) – 12 km, light lunch on the way, Dinner overnight at Camp (twin sharing tent). Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 10 - Dirapuk – Dolma-la pass (5200 m) – Zuthulpuk (4760 m)

Today morning after breakfast trek up to the 18,600ft. (Dolma-la Pass) – descend to Gauri Kund and further trek along with the river to Zuthulpuk packed lunch will be provided. Dinner & overnight at Camp (twin sharing tent). Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 11 - Zuthulpuk – Darchen – Mansarovar

After breakfast proceeds for the trek around 6 kms, and reach to the point where the jeeps will be waiting to proceed for your drive to Darchen, after lunch drive to Lake Mansarovar (horchu sides) 70 kms, dinner overnight at Camp (twin sharing tent). Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 12 - Mansarovar to Dongba

After breakfast drive up to Dongba, lunch en-route, dinner and overnight stay at Dongba. Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 13 - Drive Dongba to Nyalam

After breakfast drive to Nyalam, light lunch on the way, dinner and overnight at the lodge at Nyalam. Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 14 - Drive to Zhangmu – Kathmandu

After breakfast drive to Zhangmu, after the immigration and custom formalities – cross over to Nepal border, lunch at border guest house and drive to Kathmandu (144 kms). Overnight stay at hotel at Kathmandu. Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day - 15 - Kathmandu

Transfer to Airport for departure
