Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu

Upon arrival, you are greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Welcome drink and refreshment will be offered to you and then after a tour to the Kathmandu city. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is, in fact, two cities, Patan & Kathmandu. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02 : Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu

In the morning, you will visit Pashupatinath temple and Budhanilkantha the sleeping Bishnu, then to Patan also Known as Lalitpur. The this "City Of Beauty" is separated from Kathmandu only by the Bagmati River and is the second largest town in the valley. Lalitpur is fragmented from other cities due to its substantive architectural ancient masterpieces. Patan's central Durbar Square is absolutely packed with temples: it's an architectural centre point with a far greater concentration of temples Per Sq. Meter than of Kathamandu or Bhaktapur. Within the city also lies the Tibetan Refugee Center, home to most of the valley's Tibetan Population. While technically refugees, the Tibetans are some of the wealthiest people in the valley because of the carpet industry they operate.

For those looking to bring home a fine Tibetan carpet, this is the place to shop. You will then go to Swayambhunath the Golden Spire of the 5th-Century Swayambhu Stupa. It is adorned with a colourful fluttering of prayer flags. It crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu valley and offers fantastic views over the city of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath is one of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal and the painted eyes of Buddha watch all who ascend the worn stone steps. Optional tour: Everest Mountain flight can be done early in the morning.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Nyalam

At morning after breakfast, we will leave Kathmandu to commence yatra to Nyalam through drive which is 150km. We reach Friendship Bridge (Nepal – China Boarder) by mini-coach. We will walk along for 10 minutes to cross the bridge and there get acquainted with Chinese guide and land cruiser drivers. They will give a brief information regarding the further trip then precede the journey to Zangmu, where all the immigration and custom formalities are ought to be accomplished. After the accomplishment of all formalities, we proceed to Nyalam. After arrival to Nyalam, we will freshen up and spend our night at the guesthouse.

Day 04: Rest at Nyalam

We will take a rest for a day in Nyalam for acclimatization purpose after short hiking above Nyalam for a couple of hours. This will help you to be acclimatized properly.

Once a town of stone buildings and tin roofs, it was nicknamed 'The Gate of Hell' by the Nepalese traders because the old trail between Nyalam and the Nepalese border was so treacherous to negotiate. Today Nyalam is a fast-growing little town made of concrete buildings located on the Friendship Highway between Lhasa and the Nepal border. South of Nyalam, the road drops abruptly through the gorge of the Matsang Tsangpo or Sun Koshi as it is known in Nepal. The town is about 40 km from the Nepalese border and 150 km from Kathmandu.

Day 05: Drive Nyalam to Saga

The journey starts with a newly built road that is smooth and pleasant. Today you will pass 5000m high pass, the Lung La with great views over the Himalayas including the closest Mt. Sashibangma. You also cross beautiful Peiku Lake and Brahmaputra River.

Day 06: Drive Saga to Prayang

You will drive through barren territory passing many villages and camps of Yak herders with a distance view of snow-capped mountains but no trees. On this day the road is quite flat, hence the drive will be smooth and comfortable compared to the other days.

Day 07: Drive Paryang to Lake Mansarovar

After breakfast, we will drive to Mayum River which is 112 km and have lunch, then again drive to Mansarovar. Today is the day of a lifetime, as you will have the first sight of Holy Mt. Kailash and Holy Lake Mansarovar. You will continue by doing Mansarovar Parikrama by Jeep or coach and arrive at Chui Gompa for overnight.

Day 08: Drive Lake Mansarovar to Darchen, Base Camp of Kailash

In the morning do Pooja and take holy bath at Mansarovar. After lunch, you will drive to Darchen. While going to Darchen you will make a clockwise drive of Lake Mansarovar. The drive takes about 1 and half hours.

Reaching Darchen Yatris who are interested to visit Asthapad may go there with extra payment of the vehicle. At Darchen yatris who want to do Mt. Kailash Parikarma with horses and porters will have to confirm our guide so that he can arrange all before starting the parikrama.

Day 09: 1st Day of Parikrama to Diraphuk

At the morning you will drive to Yama Dwar and enter the holy gate and then further drive to Tarboche. Here you will meet our yaks and yak men. We will load all logistics on yaks and start Parikrama. The First day of Kora is a gradual walking of 5 hours. From the walking trail, you will have Darshan of North face of Kailash. Today your overnight will be in a tented camp at Derapuk.

Yatris who are not going Mt Kailash Parikarma will return back to Darchen and take rest there till those people going Parikarma return back

Day 10: 2nd Day of Parikrama to Zuthulphuk

Early morning trek uphill Dolmala Pass which takes about 4 to 5 hours. After reaching the top of the pass 5800 m then trek down to the valley floor. It takes another 4 to 5 hours. After that, when you cross Dolmala and move downwards you will see Gauri Kunda. This day is the longest and toughest day of Parikarma. So be prepared in mind accordingly. Like yesterday today also your overnight will be in a tented camp at Zuthulphuk

Day 11: 3rd Day of Parikrama, to Paryang –Dongba (Alt: 4600 m)

Today is the last day of Parikarma. After breakfast, you will trek down of 10-kilo meters, with the winding gradual track. Once you reach the place called Chongdo, our land cruisers or bus will pick up you and drive back to Paryang or Dongba for night halt.

Day 12: Drive Paryang to Nyalam

At morning after breakfast, you set off your journey back to Nyalam with the sweet memory of Mt Kailash and Mansarovar Lake.

Day 13: Drive Nyalam to Kathmandu VIA Zhangmu

From Nyalam, you will drive back to the friendship bridge at Kodari. After completing Chinese immigration formalities you drive to Kathmandu.

Day 14: Depart Kathmandu

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Kathmandu Airport to connect flight for onward journey.
