Nepal & Kailash Mansarovar Tour Package

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu

Upon arrival, you are greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to the hotel. You will be welcomed by drink and refreshment in the hotel followed by a tour to the Kathmandu City. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is, in fact, two cities, Patan and Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing and then fly to Nepalgunj

In the morning, you will visit Pashupatinath temple and Budhanilkantha the sleeping Bishnu, then to Patan also Known as Lalitpur. This "City Of Beauty" is separated From Kathmandu only by the Bagmati River and is the Second largest town in the valley. Lalitpur is fragmented from other cities due to its substantive architectural ancient masterpieces. Patan's Central Durbar Square is absolutely packed with temples: it's an architectural center point with a far greater concentration of temples Per Sq. Meter than of Kathamandu Or Bhaktapur. Within the city also lies the Tibetan Refugee Center, home to most of the valley's Tibetan Population. While technically refugees, the Tibetans are some of the wealthiest people in the valley because of the carpet industry they operate.

For those looking to bring home a fine Tibetan carpet, this is the place to shop. You will then go to Swayambhunath the Golden Spire of the 5th-Century Swayambhu Stupa. It is adorned with a colorful fluttering of prayer flags. It crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu valley and offers fantastic views over the city of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath is one of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal and the painted eyes of Buddha watch all who ascend the worn stone steps. After lunch you will be taken to Kathmandu airport to catch up flight to Nepalgunj.

Day 03: Fly Simikot to Hilsa

You can fly to Simikot by domestic airlines early in the morning. Upon reaching Simikot airport take a flight to Hilsa by Helicopter. You can Fresh up at local guest house with tea or coffee. Then crossing Karnali bridge arrives to Chinese land. Drive to Purang (Taklakot). Before Purang have immigration formalities at Chinese custom office.

Day 04: Rest at Purang (Taklakot)

You can relax for full day at Purang (Taklakot) for acclimatization purpose. You may do shopping at Purang market.

Day 05: Drive Purang to Mansarovar

After breakfast drive to Mansarovar Lake. Before reaching Mansarovar Lake you will see Rakshyas Tal from the way. Today is the day of lifetime as you have the first sight of Holy Mt. Kailash and holy Lake Mansarovar. Your overnight will be at Chu Gompa nearby Mansarovar.

Day 06: Drive Mansarovar Lake to Darchen, (Base Camp of Kailash)

In the morning have a Pooja as per your tradition and take holy bath at Mansarovar Lake. After lunch drive to Darchen. The drive takes about 1 and half hour. Reaching Darchen Yatris who are interested to visit Asthapad may go there with extra payment of vehicle. At Darchen yatris who want Mt. Kailash Parikarma with horses and porters will have to confirm our guide so that he can arrange all before starting the parikarma.

Day 07: First Day of Parikrama

At morning you will drive to Yama Dwar and enter the holy gate and then further drive to Tarboche. Here you will meet our yaks and yak men. We will load all logistics on yaks and start Parikrama. The First day of Kora is a gradual walking of 5 hours. From the walking trail you will have Darshan of North face of Kailash. Today your overnight will be in tented camp at Derapuk.

Yatris who are not going Mt Kailash Parikarma will return back to Darchen and take rest there till those people going Parikarma return back.

Day 08: 2nd Day of Parikrama to Zuthulphuk

Early morning trek uphill Dolmala Pass which takes about 4 to 5 hours. After reaching top of the pass 5800 m then trek down to the valley floor. It takes another 4 to 5 hours. After that, when you cross Dolmala and move downwards you will see Gauri Kunda. This day is the longest and toughest day of Parikarma. So be prepared in mind accordingly. Like yesterday today also your overnight will be in tented camp at Zuthulphuk.

Day 09: 3rd Day of Parikrama. Drive to Purang or Hilsa

Today is last day of Parikarma. After breakfast you will trek down 10 kilo meters with the winding gradual track. Then once you reach the place called Chongdo, our land cruisers will pick up you and drive to Purang. Before moving towards Purang you will have Mansarovar Lake Parikarma by drive. Today your night halt will be either at Purang or Hilsa.

Day 10: Fly from Hilsa to Simikot and then to Kathmandu

Morning flight to Simikot will be by Helicopter. Same day you will fly back to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj by domestic airlines.

Day 11: Depart Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and transfer to Kathmandu Airport to connect flight for onward journey.
