North East Tour Package Itinerary in Details

Day - 1 - Bagdogra - Gangtok

Arrive at Bagdogra airport and you are transferred to Gangtok. On arrival check-in, the hotel and relax for some time. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 2 - Gangtok

After Breakfast proceeds to full day sightseeing of Gangtok which covers Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. After sightseeing return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 3 - Gangtok - Lachung

After Breakfast check out the hotel and you are transferred to Lachung. On the way visit Tashi view point, Kabi Longstok, Seven sister's water fall Singhik viewpoint. Arrive in the evening check-in the hotel and relax for some time. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 4 - Lachung - Yumthang - Gangtok

Early in the morning proceed to half day sightseeing of Yumthang Valley. On the way visit Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. In the afternoon you are transferred to Gangtok. On the way see the Bhim Nala waterfall and Twin waterfall. Arrive in the evening in Gangtok and check in the hotel and relax for some time. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 5 - Gangtok - Darjeeling

After Breakfast proceeds to half day sightseeing of Gangtok which covers Droul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom and Flower Show. In the afternoon check out the hotel and you are transferred to Darjeeling. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 6 - Darjeeling

Early in the morning visit Tiger Hill to view the sunrise over Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world. On the way back to hotel visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After Breakfast proceeds to half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda,Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. Later in the evening return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 7 - Darjeeling - Bagdogra

After Breakfast check out the hotel and you are transferred to Bagdogra airport to board a flight for your onward journey.

  • Expenses of personal nature, such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar charges, tips, portage, camera fees etc.
  • Any meals and services not specifically mentioned in the inclusions

North East Tour Package Terms & Conditions

  • Per person prices are quoted on a twin-share basis (2 persons sharing a room).
  • A maximum of 3 adults are allowed in one room.
  • The third occupant of the room shall be provided with a mattress/rollaway bed.
  • Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
  • Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal.
  • Certain excursions like Tshangu Lake, Nathula and packages to North Sikkim etc. are controlled by the local syndicate. Due to unwritten syndicate rules, your vehicle and drivers may change for every transfer and sightseeing.
  • Nathula is a restricted area and can get sealed without any notice for security reasons. In such a case your tour will only be till Tshangu Lake and there would be no refund for utilized services
  • Due to scarcity of parking space, many areas have restrictions on the entry of vehicles and specific timings are allotted for entry. Due to restricted entry timings, often your connecting vehicle may not be allowed to enter the town/hotel area. Under such circumstances, you will be transferred from the stand to the hotel in Maruti Vans, for which the driver of your connecting vehicle will make the payment.
  • In case you have opted for a luxury vehicle (Innova / Xylo / Scorpio), please note that as per the Motor Vehicle Act the maximum capacity of an Innova is 6 people (including children) and 1 driver.
  • Landslides are a common occurrence in hilly areas. Guests would be required to bear the additional cost for any diversion/changes due to road blockage, landslide, political unrest etc.
  • MMT reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
  • It is mandatory for all guests to carry valid photo ID’s (Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card).PAN Card is not accepted at many places as a valid photo ID.
  • Service Tax shall be applicable over and above the package prices.

  • Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
