Kerala also is known as "God's Own Country" is one of the most famous destinations in India. Kerala is an important tourist destination in South India which is known for its beaches and hill stations. Alappuzha (or Alleppey) is a city on the Laccadive Sea in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It's best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons. Munnar is a town in the Western Ghats mountain range in India’s Kerala state. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it's surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat.
Day 01: Arrival in Kochi and Local Sightseeing
After arrival in Kochi, after taking a power nap, will proceed for
Kochi sightseeing. You can visit Fort Kochi which is famous for its
Chinese fishing nets and picturesque beaches. Later, you can visit the famous Jew Synagogue, one of the oldest active synagogues. Later in the evening, you can head out to Cherai Beach, relax and watch dolphins play in their natural habitat (at own cost). You can also take a boat ride to get near the beautiful creatures. Overnight accommodation in Hotels.
Day 02: Kochi to Munnar
Drive to Munnar and reach by afternoon. Check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You can opt for a leisure walk in the evening to feel nature’s blessings for Munnar. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After Breakfast, we shall move forward on a sightseeing tour of Munnar, where we shall cover
Eravikulam National Park (any entry fee charges will be separate), Mattupetty Dam, Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town and the town market. In Evening, return back to the hotel.
Day 04: Munnar – Thekkady
After Breakfast and check-out formalities, we shall proceed forward to Thekkady Sightseeing. Experiencing the eye binding attractions of the route, we shall reach Thekkady by noon. Rest of the day will be free for leisure and one can opt to have a visit of
Periyar wildlife Sanctuary (at own cost). Overnight accommodation will be at the Hotel.
Day 05: Thekkady – Alleppey
After Breakfast and check-out formalities, we shall proceed forward to Alleppey. With a network of tranquil canal and lagoons surrounded by lush green waters, Alleppey is one of the prime destinations for worldwide tourists, with a luxurious stay in well-decorated houseboats. Overnight accommodation will be in Hotel/Houseboat.
Day 06: Alleppey – Kochi
After Breakfast will proceed to Cochin to board the return flight/Train.
