New Delhi, October 15, 2014 – Marking the 82nd anniversary of JRD Tata’s first commercial flight from Karachi to Mumbai, Vistara today welcomed its first A320 aircraft painted with the airline’s livery. The aircraft landed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 1630hrs and was welcomed with the traditional water cannon salute. With this, we are a step closer to realizing our dream of getting the airline off the ground. I thank GMR and DIAL for organizing this heartwarming reception for us.
