Meghalaya Tour Package Itinerary in Details

Day - 1 - Guwahati - Shillong

Arrive at Guwahati airport and you are transferred to Shillong. On arrival at Shillong check in the hotel and relax for some time. In the afternoon proceed to half day sightseeing of Shillong which covers St. Catholic Cathedral Church, Golf Course and Mall road. The evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 2 - Shillong - Cherrapunji

After Breakfast check out the hotel and you are transferred to Cherrapunji. On the way visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. On arrival at Cherrapunji check in the hotel and relax for some time. Later take half-day sightseeing of Cherrapunji which covers Mawsmai Cave, Khasi Monoliths, Koh Ramhah and Seven Sisters waterfall. In the evening return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 3 - Cherrapunji half-day tour

After Breakfast takes a half-day trek of Double Decker Living Root Bridge deep in the jungle. The trek will take approximately 2-3 hours (one way) to reach the site. The trek is divided into rocky steps, ramps and trails. Later return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 4 - Cherrapunji - Shillong

After breakfast check out the hotel and drive back to Shillong. On arrival check-in, the hotel and relax for some time. Later in afternoon visit Lady Hyder’s Park and Meghalaya State Emporium. The evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 5 - Shillong - Guwahati

After Breakfast check out the hotel and you are transferred to Guwahati airport/railway station to board a flight for your onward journey.

Meghalaya Tour Package Terms & Conditions

  • Per person prices are quoted on a twin-share basis (2 persons sharing a room).
  • A maximum of 3 adults are allowed in one room.
  • The third occupant of the room shall be provided a mattress/rollaway bed.
  • Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
  • Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal.
  • MMT reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
  • It is mandatory for all guests to carry valid photo ID’s (Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card). PAN Card is not accepted at many places as a valid photo ID.
