Courtallam & Thenmala Tour Package Itinerary in Details

Day - 1 - Chennai

Arrive at Chennai railway station and board a train Pothigai Express to Tenkasi railway station. Overnight stay at the train

Day - 2 - Tenkasi - Courtallam

Arrive at Tenkasi railway station and you are transferred to Courtallam. On arrival check in the hotel and relax for some time. Later take half-day sightseeing of Courtallam which covers, Old Courtallam Falls, Main Falls, Kutralanathar Temple, Five Falls and Sri Kasi Viswanathar Temple. After sightseeing back to the hotel. The evening is at leisure for your individual activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 3 - Courtallam - Thenmala

After Breakfast proceeds to Thenmala Sightseeing. Enroute visit Palaruvi Falls at Aryankavu. On arrival visit Adventure zone, Leisure zone, Deer Sanctuary, Kallada Dam and you can also enjoy the Musical Dancing Fountain at the cultural zone in the evening. After exploring these sightseeing return back to the Courtallam. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day - 4 - Courtallam - Thenmala

After Breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Thenmala. Enroute visit Musical Dancing Fountain at cultural zone. Arrive at Thenmala railway station to board a train to Chennai. Overnight stay at the train

Day - 5 - Chennai

Arrive at Chennai railway station board a train for your onwards journey.

  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to the availability. Mostly hotels observe 1300 to 1500 check-in time and check-out time is normally 1000 to 1100 hrs.
  • Heart & blood pressure patients, pregnant women, persons suffering from physical problems, senior citizens etc need to be cautious while traveling and should be accompanied by someone.
  • Tourists to make their own arrangements for darshan at the temples covered in the circuit.
  • Tourists to carry Original Photo ID card at all times (like Driving license, Voters Id card, Ration Card, Pan Card) as proof of identity and or for cross verification by the authorities. Coutallam falls is one of the major tourist destination in Tenkasi. Thenmala dam also a center of atteaction for the tourist.
